About the Speaker: Sister Sarah Mokh is a PhD student in the Department of
Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at New York University. Her research focuses on Islamic intellectual history, devotional literature, and ritual piety. As an undergraduate student at Harvard, she studied English and Islamic Studies.
