Quran Circle is a biweekly English program at MIT (established in 2016) covering exegesis (“tafsir”) of Quran and special research topics related to the Quran. Topic: “Exegesis of Verses 100-End of Surah Al-Isra (chapter 17)”
About the Speaker: Dr. Saeed Moshfegh is a physicist and physics educator. He is a faculty member at Texas State University and his research interest is on solid state physics, physics education, science identity and its intersection with religious, gender, and other kind identities. He has been an active member of Muslim communities around the US and has been involved in teaching Quran and Islamic studies to the youth for the last 10 years.
