Title: Walking in the footsteps of and living with the Shuhada of Karbala, especially Syed-As-Shuhada Imam Husayn.
Omeed Rezaian is a friend of the community, having lived in the Boston Area from 2010-2011. He grew up outside of Chicago. Hajj Omeed obtained a degree in Economics from Stanford University and his MBA in Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Finance from the University of Chicago. At a community level, he has been a mentor, Sunday School teacher, soccer coach and School Board Member. Professionally, he has been a management consultant, most recently at the Boston Consulting Group and currently works at Google where he is an Executive Coach and Organizational Development partner helping Google leadership address their most pressing human capital challenges. His lecture is immediately based on his personally attended Arbaeen walks, Hajj, Umra and other ziyarat.

Title: “True Life According to the Holy Quran“
About the Speaker:
Sayyid Abbas Razavian grew up in the greater Los Angeles area. He received his bachelors degree in business administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California in 2001.
At the age of 21 he moved to Tehran, Iran to study in the Islamic Seminary of Tehran with the late honorable akhlaq(ethics) teacher Ayatollah Mojtahedi.
He spent six years in Tehran studying Arabic grammar, logic, Aqaid (Islamic beliefs), usul al-fiqh (theory of Islamic jurisprudence), Islamic law, and akhlaq. After the passing of his akhlaq teacher, he moved to Qum to continue his studies in usul al-fiqh and Islamic law. He studied the books Rasel and Makasib of Shaykh Ansari and Kifayatul Usul of Akhund Khorasani and some philosophy from the books Bidayatul Hikma and Nihayatul Hikma of Allame Tabatabie. After finishing the sutuh of the hawza(Islamic seminary), he began bahth al-kharij.
He is currently in his sixth year of bahth kharij and presently studying with Ayatullah Shahidipoor, one of the distinguished students of the late marja’ Ayatullah Al Udhma Mirza Jawad Tabrizi.
