Abstract: The discussion will be focused on the developments in the memories of the Prophet’s sunnah after he died, and Ahl al-Bayt’s role in reviving and rectifying that memory.
About the Speaker:
Shaykh Reza Hemyari is currently a Ph.D. student in Islamic studies at the University of Chicago. Prior to this, he studied at the Ahl ul-Bayt Islamic Seminary in Chicago, IL. Originally from Iran, he received an MA in Religious Studies from the George Washington University, after which he began his seminary education in Najaf, Iraq in 2013.
