About the Speaker:.Dr. Radhawi is a Research Scientist at Northeastern University
Special Topic: “A discussion on Quran and its Beauty.”
Abstract: Modern treatments of the Quran usually focus on the information conveyed by its text while sidelining its aesthetic aspects. Guided by recent studies in this topic, I will discuss how the aesthetics of Quran have been an integral part of its history in terms of the text and sound, and how it has affected the recipients.
