About the Speaker:

Mr. Mostafa Daneshgar is currently a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Wayne State University in Michigan. Prior to coming to US in 2010, he studied Shiite theology and Shiite jurisprudence at the Qum Seminary and continued these studies when he immigrated to Syria where he attended the Seminary of Zenobia at Damascus.
Mr. Daneshgar has written more than 200 articles and speeches about Islam, Shiite, and relations between religions, specifically Shiite, as well as cultural and social challenges in Persian, Arabic, and English.

Dear Community Members Salaamon Alaikum,

In light of recent developments related to the spread of COVID-19, we will cancel the following events:
1. Program on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
2. Omid School classes on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
3. Nowruz Celebration planned for March 21, 2020.
4. Omid School classes on Saturday, March 21, 2020 (Per School’s calendar).
We are thankful to all the community members who volunteered to help with the Nowruz event and we are hoping to hold another event in replacement of it for contribution to the orphans. In the meantime, you can donate to orphans by using the following link:
